Well, we’ve only gone and made it! Gizmos is a game that keeps everyone fully involved all the time. It is a thing of beauty and a joy to play.
This is just one example of the way we approach keeping all our players engrossed. It may be something as simple as drawing new cards at the end of your turn, rather than at the start as other games do. Why? Well because then you can be thinking about your next move rather than just sitting there watching, and when your turn comes around you are much more ready to play straight away, rather than keep everyone else waiting. It’s obvious when you think about it, but not many games designers do.
