Overlord is the most unfair game ever made.
In this social card game, you must collect favour to win. But only one player, the Overlord, is allowed to earn favour. In addition, they have an insanely powerful deck of cards which they can use to punish other players as they wish. Of course, the Overlord is far too important to do any menial work – that has to be done by their (almost) powerless subjects.
Will the Overlord be benevolent, rewarding their subjects for their work on spectacular projects? Or will they be strict, demanding toil under threat of punishment?
Will the subjects negotiate a fair reward for their efforts and aim to win by honest hard work? Or will they lie, scheme and sabotage until they can overthrow the Overlord and take over the coveted position themselves?
It’s every player for themselves in this social game of bluffing, bargaining and interaction.
